What is white balsamic vinegar, and how is it different from regular balsamic?
White balsamic starts from the same grape must as traditional dark balsamic, but instead of being caramelized over an open flame, it's cooked at a lower temperature under pressure. That keeps it light gold instead of deep brown, and gives it a brighter, more delicate flavor instead of the thick, syrupy sweetness of dark balsamic. It's also why white balsamic is the better base for infusing with fresh fruit and herbs. It lets those flavors come through clearly instead of competing with a heavy caramel note. Every Cozy Pear Cafe flavor starts with this lighter white balsamic base, then gets hand-infused in small batches with fresh fruit, herbs, and other flavorings.
How do I use Cozy Pear Cafe vinegars?
However you'd use any good vinegar and then some. Drizzle over salads, use as a marinade base, mix into mocktails or cocktails, finish a charcuterie board, or even spoon over desserts and fresh fruit. Check each flavor's product page for our favorite pairing suggestions.
How should I store my bottle, and how long does it last?
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight; a pantry shelf is perfect. Vinegar's natural acidity makes it shelf-stable, but for the best flavor we recommend using within 3-6 months of purchase.
Are your products gluten-free, vegan, or allergen-friendly?
Cozy Pear Cafe products are made in a small home-based kitchen under Georgia's Cottage Food regulations: MADE IN A COTTAGE FOOD OPERATION THAT IS NOT SUBJECT TO STATE FOOD SAFETY INSPECTIONS. Each bottle's label lists the full ingredient list and clearly states any of the federally recognized major allergens it contains (milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy, sesame). Please check the label for your specific flavor, or message us before purchasing if you have a food allergy or sensitivity.
